Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials within the warehouse and ensuring accurate inventory control. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and cranes. Responsibilities: - Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, or shelves using forklifts, pallet jacks, or cranes - Safely transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse - Verify and inspect incoming and outgoing materials for quality and accuracy - Maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanners or other tracking systems - Organize and stack materials in designated storage areas - Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed - Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment Requirements: - Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role - Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures - Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, and cranes - Proficient in using RF scanners or other inventory tracking systems - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
